Our Story!

Our privately held company was founded by Frederick H. Gohl Sr. in February 1947, and we’ve been growing ever since. What began with just 4 employees working in a small Chicago area factory has grown into our vast 250,000 Sq.ft. manufacturing facility located in Glendale Heights, IL.

In 1952, we became the very first fan company to design and sell a centrifugal fan with an airfoil blade, and have been setting the standard ever since. Today, our air handling products are recognized in the market for their premium industrial quality and ability to serve a wide variety of industries and applications. We offer an extensive line of industrial fans and blowers that exceed our customers air handling needs, while also reducing energy usage and sound.

Over 75 years after our inception, “Chicago” fans and blowers are recognized as the trusted industry standard, and you can find Chicago Blower fans across the globe.
